Privacy policy

Last updated 31 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Peak Momentum collects through this website and by email, why we collect it, and what your rights are. It is written for people in the United Kingdom and applies the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We apply the same standards to everyone, wherever they are.

Who we are

This website is run by Peak Momentum, operated by Babson. We are a remote first agency that builds AI automations for businesses. For data protection law, we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

You can contact us about this policy or your information at babson@peakmommentum.online.

What this website collects

This website has no contact form, no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking tools. It does not set cookies. Fonts and images are served from the same place as the pages, not from third parties.

Like most websites, the company that hosts it keeps technical server logs. These can include your IP address, the pages you request, the date and time, and your browser type. They are used to keep the site secure and working.

What we collect by email

The only way to contact us through this site is by email. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you tell us in the message.

Provide services if you become a client To carry out the work we agree with you Performance of a contract
Keep records of our work and accounts To meet legal and tax obligations Legal obligation
Keep the website secure To prevent misuse and fix faults Legitimate interests

If we contact you first

We may email businesses to introduce our services. When we do, we use information that is publicly available, such as the details on a business website or business listing. We only use it to write to that business about services that relate to it.

Our legal basis is legitimate interests in promoting our services to other businesses. If you do not want to hear from us, reply and say so, or email babson@peakmommentum.online. We will stop contacting you and keep your address on a list of people not to contact, so we do not write to you again by mistake. You have the right to object, and we will honour it.

Who handles your information

We use a small number of providers to run the business. They process information on our behalf:

  • Email: our email is provided by Zoho Mail. Messages you send us are stored in our mailbox there.
  • Website hosting: this site is hosted on Netlify, which processes server logs as described above.

These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards allowed by UK data protection law, such as the UK international data transfer agreement or addendum, or an adequacy arrangement. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to our professional advisers.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months after the last message, then deleted.
  • Client records and correspondence: for the length of the contract, then for as long as the law requires us to keep business and accounting records.
  • Do-not-contact records: kept for as long as needed to honour your request.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period under its own settings.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your information;
  • ask for your information in a portable format, where this applies;
  • object to us using your information based on legitimate interests, including for direct marketing.

To use any of these rights, email babson@peakmommentum.online. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we begin to use cookies, analytics or a contact form, we will update this policy before we do.
